Saturday 1 December

We have a very busy weekend ahead in our church community.

9.30am –  it is the first Saturday of the month  which means it is our regular Prayer Breakfast in church. A chance to take a little time out of our busy lives to pause, take a breath, give thanks for all that is good in our lives and community and raise up in prayer those close to us and situations in our community and wider world that are in need or give us cause for concern. Anyone is welcome to join us whether you are a regular churchgoer or just looking for a little peace in your life. Afterwards, we go across the road to the Community Centre for a cuppa – and maybe even a bacon buttie – at the Cafe.

Prayer 1

10.00am – “Our Community Spirits” graveyard clean-up. Natalie Rice has started a project to give our graveyard a good tidy up and would love to see others from the village join her and her family in caring for the final resting places of those who may not have family still local to look after them. To find out more, visit the project Facebook page here.

3.00pm – Family Film Afternoon. We are showing off the new projector and screen in the Community Centre (opposite church, across the road) by inviting you in to a Family Film Afternoon where we will be showing The Greatest Showman.  Free admission, light refreshments available. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
