15 August is celebrated annually within the church as the festival day of the Blessed Virgin Mary. We will be marking the day instead on Sunday 18 August by joining with our friends at St Mary’s church, Cottonstones, as they celebrate their patronal festival within their Holy Communion service at 11.30am.  Please note, there will be no service at St Peter’s on this Sunday.
